Students are required to submit a sentence of their own for each Target Word studied. Mr. Verbocity reviews all these sentences and selects several of the most interesting, clever or thoughtful for inclusion in a Student Sentence Contest. Students are notified by email if one of their sentences is entered in a contest. The public can vote for up to 3 sentences per contest by clicking on the link on the Verbocity homepage. The sentence receiving the most votes wins an MP3 player or other valuable prize.
